William Mark Clarke
"The Night Scribe"
William “Mark” Clarke is a screenwriter based out of Las Vegas. He is a prolific writer who writes daily seven days a week. He is currently developing several projects. On average Mark writes 5 to 7 scripts at a time. “There is no such thing as writers block.”
Mark arrived on plant Earth in the early 1960s in the Republic of California. Being a “military(USAF) brat” he traveled from California,Mississippi,Oklahoma, The Republic of the Philippines and the Commonwealth of Virginia and Las Vegas Nevada.
In 1988 he was hired as a Nevada Corrections Officer where he served sixteen years. Thirteen years at Southern Desert Correctional Center and three years at High Desert State Prison, both prisons are located 42 miles northwest of Las Vegas. In 2003 he was “forced” to resign by the NDOC for his activities on the internet.
Since leaving the Nevada Department of Corrections and working at an undisclosed location he continues to work on scripts as a “spec writer.”
Mark has an editor in New York City and has assisted him in the little adventure in the world of writing.
